Description: Omar Salim attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he completed the 5 Year Bachelors of Architecture Degree, to support his career as an Architect. Omar is extremely interested in sustainable design and its affects on the environment. Additionally, Omar has been a part of many projects that focus on using Architecture to create sustainable communities, such as Nueces Mosque, the first Mixed Use Student Mosque in the nation. Omar is also very involved with local Austin Muslim organizations, having served as the President of MSA.
