In her undergraduate, she studied at Georgetown School of Foreign Service with a major in Regional and Comparative Studies with a concentration on women’s advancement and girl’s education. Habon has a passion for women’s rights, international development, and global security. She looks to champion for the role of women to be at the forefront of development and security apparatus. Habon remains interested in expanding her knowledge and understanding of global security through advancing a human security agenda. She believes that there is a need to develop a national security apparatus that is comprehensive in incorporating human security and civil society to solve the most pressing domestic security problems.
