Description: With the support of ISF, Dana Elizabeth Lee earned a master’s degree student from Harvard Divinity School, specializing in the study of Islam. Prior to this program, Dana earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Chinese from the University of Notre Dame, and a juris doctor from UCLA School of Law. Dana’s primary scholarly interests are in classical Islamic jurisprudence and theology, and in furtherance of her passion for the pursuit of knowledge, she completed a Ph.D. following the master’s degree program from the Department of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University. She served as a research fellow at the Program in Islamic Law at Harvard Law School for the 2019 and is on the faculty of the UC Irvine Law School. In addition to academia, she also strives to remain fully engaged in policy work and legal advocacy throughout her career.
