Description: Isir Said is a 2020 and 2021 ISF Law Scholar, receiving a Juris Doctorate from Yale Law School in 2022. Isir received her bachelor’s degree in Political and Social Thought, with a minor in History from the University of Virginia. Her academic and research interests range from human rights to globalization, from world literature to politics, and from Arabic to ethics. Isir’s honors and awards include two Critical Language Scholarships—one in Amman, Jordan; the other in Tangier, Morocco—and an IPE Ethics Internship Grant.
