Description: Zainab is a graduate of Berkeley Law (’19). After law school, she worked as a law clerk in the District of Delaware and in the Ninth Circuit. She then joined Keker, Van Nest & Peters, LLP in the fall of 2021. Zainab’s legal scholarship has focused on the potential of the court as a countermajoritarian institution, patriarchy in the law, and BDS as a tool of organized labor. Zainab is outspoken on issues relating to settler colonialism and her work on the subject has appeared in Mondoweiss, the Middle East Eye, Verso Books, and Open Democracy. Zainab’s Palestinian and Kashmiri heritage has intensified her interest in issues of social, political, and economic justice. She tweets @falastinicoor.
