Description: Ayah Ibrahim holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from George Mason University.  She received a B.A. in Government and Middle East Studies from the College of William and Mary, and an M.A. in International Relations from George Mason University. She has worked with the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy and spoken at several academic conferences and at the Woodrow Wilson Center. While a doctoral student, she served as a graduate teaching assistant for a range of courses at different levels. She also worked as a graduate research assistant to a top scholar on Political Islam and with George Mason University’s state lobbyists. Ayah is a recipient of George Mason’s Dean’s Challenge Fellowship recognizing exceptional graduate students who have excelled while making academically-challenging choices.
