Did you know that your employer can match your donation? You could double your donation and double your impact! The process to start a corporate match is complex, but we’re here to help make it simpler. Here’s what you need to know!
Step 1. Make Your Donation
Make your donation and keep your receipt! Corporate matching programs may allow you up to a year after you’ve made your donation to match it. Your employer can not only match your cash and credit donations, but they can also match stocks, bonds, and even volunteer hours.
Step 2. Submit Your Matching Request
Use the search bar to see if your employer has a matching gift program. If you result the yellow thumbs up, you can go on to the next step! If you’re unable to find your employer or you’re unsure what their process is, contact us at: angelica@islamicscholarshipfund.org.
Step 3. Verify Your Donation Was Matched
If you’ve finished your employer’s matching gift process, email us or click the button below. Many employers have different matching gift processes, and it could take a few weeks for your employer to match your donation. A member of ISF’s development team will contact you once your donation is successfully matched.
Match Completed!
Once you’ve completed your employer’s matching gifts process, let us know by contacting ISF Development Manager, Angelica Malik at angelica@islamicscholarshipfund.org. Because every employer has a unique matching gifts process, it can take up to a few weeks for your employer to match your donation. Our team will notify you once your donation is successfully matched.
Lastly, if you’re interested in recurring giving, a monthly donation from your paycheck could be the giving option for you! Contact your HR department to see if your employer offers this, and if they don’t, consider recommending that they do.
