Description: Mark Haidar is a graduate of the Joint JD/MPP program at Harvard Law School and Harvard Kennedy School. A native of Metro Detroit, Mark graduated from the University of Michigan in 2016 with a BA in Public Policy. Prior to law school, Mark worked primarily in policy and civil rights advocacy—including roles at the Obama White House, the campaign for Michigan gubernatorial candidate Abdul El-Sayed, and the Constitutional Accountability Center. At HLS, Mark founded the Equal Democracy Project, a student organization focused on democracy and electoral reform. He plans to commit his career to furthering voting rights and democracy reform in the United States.
