Bio: Laylaa Abdul-Khabir is an entering first-year law student at the University of California, Los Angeles. She has an interest in racial justice and public interest law, and looks forward to studying in the Critical Race Studies program at the law school. She graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 2012 with a double major in Integrative Biology and Peace and Conflict Studies. Since that time, she has worked as a Community Advocate for a civil rights organization focused on providing advocacy and services in workforce development and economic justice for low-income communities of color.
