Description: Mariam Keita is a Charles B. Rangel Graduate fellow and MA candidate in Global Communications at the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University. She is an experienced strategic political communicator and passionate about strengthening U.S.-Africa relations. Originally from the midwest, Mariam acquired a BA in Africana Studies and Geography from Mount Holyoke College. They have previously worked in communications at the New England Health Care Employees Union in Hartford, CT, Govern for America, and spent time as a Legislative Fellow for Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO).
