    Description: Qadria Naji is currently completing her Master’s in International Development Policy at Duke University’s Sanford School, focusing on migration policy and global health studies. Her passion for community integration and development stems from her upbringing as the daughter of a Palestinian refugee and an American expatriate in the UAE. She earned her Bachelor’s in Commerce from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, later lending her skills to create integration programs for Syrian refugees throughout New Mexico and conduct employability seminars for out-of-school youth as part of the U.S. Peace Corps in the Philippines. Her recent work with the International Rescue Committee and Durham County Refugee and Migration Office has honed her program evaluation skills and community engagement skills, emphasizing stakeholder advocacy and cultural humility throughout local services. Qadria strives to enhance the scope and efficacy of refugee resettlement policies and to increase the visibility of Muslim policy-makers.
