Description: Aman Rahman is a Muslim poet living on Long Island, New York. He is studying English and the Health Sciences at Stony Brook University where he is editor of the undergraduate creative writing journal Sandpiper Review. His poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Narrative, Consequence, Mizna, Ecotone, and the margins. Aman is currently applying to graduate schools to pursue a career in public health with a focus on critical medical humanities as a means of addressing inequity.
