Description: Josue is a 2024 Islamic Scholarship Fund scholar and a law student at the University of Colorado Law School. Josue holds a BA in Political Science with a minor in International Studies and Critical Race & Ethnic Studies (CRES) from the University of Denver. After graduating in 2022, he practiced development without displacement in a Denver neighborhood named Montbello. Josue has worked as a Community Engagement Specialist, Community Development Program Manager, and Director of Children’s Farms in Action while employed at the Montbello Organizing Committee. He looks forward to continuing a career in public interest work as a future plaintiff trial lawyer.
