    Description: Talia Basma completed her BA at UC Davis. During high school was when Talia decided she wanted to be an English teacher and master the world of creative writing. In that time she joined Global Glimpse and was an ambassador; she also extended her volunteer work with GiveLight Foundation which she had started doing in middle school. Talia’s love for reading and writing has only grown since then. After, she was awarded the Ohlone Promise Scholarship and got her general education done at Ohlone Community college where she worked on and published an article with Huffington Post. In her free time, she works on her books and blog writing about fiction to political issues ranging from education, culture, and civil rights. In fact, she self published her own poetry collection. When she’s not writing, she’s traveling with friends and family around to world to places like Lebanon, Barcelona and Greece. She transferred from community college to UC Davis, completing her bachelor's in 2019.
