Description: Mahdi Al-Husseini is an active-duty 1LT with the US Army, and a graduate of Georgia Tech with a BS in Public Policy. In addition to his work as a professional pilot, he regularly writes education-themed columns for the Douglas County Sentinel, and has won the Georgia Press Association 1st Place Lifestyle Column Award in both 2018 and 2019. He is especially interested and invested in S&T, IP, and National Defense policy, and is a registered patent agent. Mahdi currently attend Stanford University where he is completing an MS in Aeronautics and Astronautics.
