    Description: Suhayla Sibaai is a foreign policy professional focused on U.S. foreign policy toward the Middle East. Sibaai has served as a Foreign Affairs Officer with the U.S. Department of State. As a part of this role, Sibaai engaged daily with the U.S. interagency and foreign government officials to build long-term capacity in critical infrastructure protection. Prior to working with the Department of State, Sibaai worked extensively on U.S. and international policy toward Syria. Sibaai also previously worked in the U.S. Congress on the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation, and Trade. She has conducted extensive research and has published articles for various think tanks and media outlets. Sibaai received her Master of Science in Foreign Service with a concentration in Global Politics and Security from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
