    Description: Sarah Mokh is an academic, writer, and filmmaker. She is a graduate of Harvard, where she studied Islamic Civilizations and English, and is currently a PhD student at NYU in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. Her debut film, Calmly We Walk Through This April's Day, received a 2023 ISF Fellowship as well as the support of the Sundance Institute and Film Independent. She is a 2022 Film Independent Episodic Lab Fellow, a 2023 Sundance Fellow, and a recipient of the inaugural MPAC Hollywood Bureau writing fellowship. Her academic writing has been featured or presented in the Columbia Journal of International Affairs, the American Oriental Society, Harvard Divinity School, and others.
