Description: Aisha Yaqoob completed her graduate-level studies at the University of Georgia, pursuing her Masters of Public Administration & Policy. Aisha graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Georgia in December 2013 with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism with a concentration in Public Relations, as well as a certificate in Disability Studies. During her undergrad years, she was involved in various student organizations and served as president of her local MSA. Her community involvement extends beyond the Muslim organizations, as she has served in an advisory capacity on her local government’s planning projects. In addition, she has held a position on the alumni advisory board for her high school Alma Mater’s business & marketing education program. Aisha graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Public Administration in 2016. She founded the Georgia Muslim Voter Project and is the Executive Director at Asian Americans Advancing Justice Atlanta.
