Description: Ali Fazal is an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, prosecuting criminal cases in New York City. A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Washington and Lee University School of Law, he has focused his career at the intersection of law, policy, and public service. He began that work as a staffer for the Biden presidential campaign in his home state of North Carolina, before serving as an Islamic Scholarship Fund Congressional Intern. He went on to become a Legal Fellow in the United States Senate, where he focused on Judiciary and Homeland Security matters and managed the confirmation process for Article III judges. A dedicated advocate for representation in law and government, Ali credits ISF with helping shape his career path.
