She is currently the Economic Advancement Manager at the Tiyya Foundation, where she has placed over 70 refugees in sustainable jobs. This fall she will be attending the University of Chicago's Middle Eastern Studies program, aiming to contribute to foreign policy at the Department of Homeland Security and shape inclusive policies for underrepresented communities once she graduates. Mira's past experiences laid a strong foundation for her future endeavors.
