    Description: Maria Warith-Wade is a screenwriter and filmmaker from Richmond, Virginia. Her career in television began when she was nine, operating cameras for televised services at her church. She’s the youngest out of thirteen, raised in a multi-faith house -- Islam and Christianity, and graduated from college at nineteen. Before coming to Hollywood, she produced branded content campaigns for MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, and Paramount TV. Currently, Maria is a staff writer on an Emmy-nominated series and holds a Masters in Fine Arts from the University of Southern California’s Peter Stark Producing Program. Currently, she’s a staff writer for a Disney+ series.
