Description: I am a first-generation college graduate from Webster University studying Political Science and International Relations. I was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, and moved to the United States, St. Louis, Missouri in 2017. I am interested and deeply passionate about the legal system, human rights, women's rights, women's education rights, and minority representation at all government levels. I am interested in pursuing Congressional Law after my undergraduate studies. Through my professional and academic career, I hope to serve my country and utilize my leadership to help others. I am an active advocate for the Afghan refugees coming to St. Louis from Afghanistan. I have spoken at many conferences, news, and newspapers regarding my activism and work and have raised more than $11,000 from community donations to welcome the newly arrived Afghans. On campus, I served as the Student Government Vice-President, Speech and Debate Team, Student Ambassador, and Gorlok Guide for incoming students.
