    Description: Mohammed Syed is a journalist based in NYC. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, his passion is rooted in broadcast journalism and narrative storytelling. He studied political science at Rutgers-Newark, and worked the media ropes through internships at MSNBC, Vice News, 60 Minutes, SOC Films, and was at production company Roads and Kingdoms. He is of Pakistani heritage, and the study of South Asian social politics remain close to his heart. His interests lie in international field production, and he can be found looking for a hot cup of chai in an urban city, or hiking somewhere off the beaten path.
