Description: Noor Khaled is a 2L at Yale Law School. She graduated from the University of Miami, majoring in International Studies and Political Science with a minor in Spanish. During her undergraduate years, Noor was heavily involved in Student Government, served as an editor for the student newspaper, and conducted research on campus speech. Before law school, Noor worked in Compliance for two years. At Yale Law School, she is an active member of several student organizations. She has also co-authored an antitrust paper which was presented to the Federal Trade Commission. Noor hopes to integrate Islam into her academic work. She has written a paper proposing a secular argument for Shariah Finance. She is planning to write another paper exploring the Muslim perspective of originalism as a mode of constitutional interpretation. Noor is keeping an open mind about her future career path, but is set to complete an appellate clerkship upon graduation.
