Description: Aiman Mimiko is a Nigerian Writer/Director who completed his MFA in Film at Columbia University. Aiman’s work is heavily influenced by his experiences as a Muslim and a Nigerian, focusing on telling stories about characters trying to find their place in society. Raised between New York City and Nigeria, Aiman obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Film in Malaysia at Limkokwing University. Aiman's teleplay, Casual Patricide, made the final round for Almanak Screenwriter's Episodic Lab, as well as Fox's Writer's Incubator Initiative. Aiman was selected to participate in MPAC Hollywood/The Blackhouse Black Muslim TV Writing Lab with his teleplay, House Call Aiman is a 2021 BAFTA Newcomer.
