Description: Essraa is an academic librarian who received her Bachelor’s degree in commerce with an emphasis in accounting from Alexandria University, Egypt. She also holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University. She then pursued a Master of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University, graduating in 2017. Essraa has been a librarian at Chapman University, California, since 2009. Her professional interests include developing and implementing marketing, branding, and communications and fundraising practices to support academic Libraries. She is a regular contributor to the Huffington Post and several other magazines and blogs where she shares her story as a Muslim woman living in America. She recently took her diversity message to the international stage where she spoke at a TED conference in Munich on how to feel welcomed and empowered in a diverse world/
