Description: Ola Mohamed is a proud 2026 ISF Scholarship recipient and is thrilled to be joining the ISF community. Ms. Mohamed served as the Intake Coordinator of Katz Banks Kumin, a plaintiff-side employment and civil rights law firm, from April 2025 to July 2026, where she was the primary point of contact for potential clients seeking legal representation. Originally from Sudan, Ms. Mohamed has lived in Northern Virginia for the past 14 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Theory and Philosophy from the University of Virginia in May 2023. Before joining KBK, Ola worked at a progressive fundraising firm in Washington, D.C., where she supported development efforts for a range of mission-aligned organizations. Outside of work, she remains active in community organizing across the DMV area, focusing on raising funds and awareness for the escalating humanitarian crisis in Sudan caused by the ongoing war. Ms. Mohamed is an incoming 1L at Northeastern University School of Law, where she plans to enhance her commitment to justice and public service.
