Amal has undertaken public defense work and domestic relations litigation, and is now an Associate Editor at her law school's Journal of Law and Technology and the Vice President of the Middle Eastern Students Association. Amal aspires to serve as a human rights attorney and specialize in international law after obtaining her J.D.
