    Description: Zaid Yousef is a law student at UC Berkeley and a graduate student at The Islamic Seminary of America. At Berkeley, Zaid has focused his studies on the fields of civil and human rights, particularly in light of the Gaza Genocide and subsequent crackdown on pro-Palestinian students. He also served as the President of the Muslim Student Association and Managing Editor of the Journal of Middle Eastern and Islamic Law. In the future, Zaid plans to continue his Islamic studies and to serve as a public interest lawyer with a faith-based, activism-oriented ethos.
