Description: Ezza Ahmed is a poetry MFA candidate at Brooklyn College, where she also teaches English Composition. She graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University with majors in both English and Politics and a minor in Creative Writing. Her work explores the implications of war, mass migration, and serves to push the questions of what it means to leave home. More largely, Ezza is interested in memory as a mode of storytelling.
