Zafir’s Message to Supporters:
ISF is an important organization that recognizes the need to promote involvement in the greater society from the future leaders of the Muslim American community. The scholarship I received will allow me to put more time and energy into my academics and community work, and less on earning an income. The founding of ISF is an important step forward for our community.
Zafir studied law at the University of California Hastings College of the Law and works currently at the Alameda County Public Defender as an Associate Deputy Public Defender.
