Shajuti spent her second summer at Goldstein Borgen Dardarian & Ho (a plaintiff’s side employment firm) in Oakland, CA. During her third year of law school, she externed at the North Carolina State Board of Education and the North Carolina Justice Center.
Bio: Shajuti Hossain is from Raleigh, North Carolina. Her background as a member of a minority group has shaped her career goal of advocating for communities who need more representation and empathy in the legal field. She chose to attend law school to learn how to serve this purpose. During her first year in law school, she joined the Coalition Against Gendered Violence, became a Guardian ad Litem, co-founded the Duke Muslim Law Students Association, and spent her summer interning at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.
