Mohammed Syed is a student journalist based in NYC. Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, his passion is rooted in broadcast journalism and narrative storytelling. He studies political science at Rutgers-Newark, and has worked the media ropes through internships at MSNBC, Vice News, 60 Minutes, SOC Films, and is now currently at production company Roads and Kingdoms. He is of Pakistani heritage, and the study of South Asian social politics remain close to his heart. He aspires to be an international field producer, and can be found looking for a hot cup of chai in an urban city, or hiking somewhere off the beaten path.
