Mustafa is a completing a law fellowship at UCLA Law and will be applying to law school in the fall.

Bio: Mustafa Alemi is a third year student studying Political Science at San Diego State University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Associated Students and as the President of Students for Justice in Palestine. Alemi is also the founder of CommUNITY, a student-led organization that works to equip underrepresented communities with the tools necessary to run for A.S. positions. He previously co-directed the SDSU Divest campaign that called on San Diego State to divest from corporations complicit in the Israeli occupation; 53% of students went on to vote in favor in a referendum.  Alemi was also recently awarded the Quest for the Best Award, the highest honor a student can receive at SDSU. When he isn’t busy writing papers or organizing against social injustices, Mustafa enjoys graphic design, using Native Immigrant, a sustainable streetwear clothing line he co-founded, as his creative outlet. He intends on pursuing a J.D./M.P.P joint-degree after graduation.
