After three years of working at an economic consulting firm in San Francisco, Kosar Jahani will be returning back to school to pursue a public policy degree. Kosar graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Business Administration and worked on a number of projects focusing on the non-profit sector. After graduation she continued this work as a volunteer with Qubestone Consulting, providing strategic consulting for Muslim American non-profit organizations. She hopes to use these experiences as a foundation for her new field of study, international relations, and to help pave alternative approaches to the U.S.’ foreign policy towards the Middle East.
Kosar’s Message to Sponsors:
I’m honored to have been selected from a talented and deserving group of applicants. Insha’ Allah we can help each other in filling the professional and institutional gaps American Muslims are facing. I look forward to working with the ISF community.
Kosar graduated in 2012 and works as an Impact Manager at Samaschool in San Francisco.
