Message to Supporters: Thank you so much for your generous scholarship. My name is Hamna Ahmad and I will be starting my JD at the University of Virginia School of Law in the fall. I graduated from George Mason University this past spring with a major in Government and International Politics and minors in Spanish and Political Communication. I am very thankful and appreciative of your support of my studies and of the goals of the Islamic Scholarship Fund in general.

In law school, I want to concentrate in civil rights law and am interested in fostering diversity and justice for low-wage and migrant workers. I believe that income inequality is the root of many of our country’s problems, and I hope to be able to work on solving this issue with my future career. I have experience both on Capitol Hill and in local government and have seen firsthand the change even a single person can make.

May Allah bless you and make this scholarship a benefit for myself and for everyone involved in the process.
