Description: Aya Hamdan is a Palestinian-American producer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is a Film Independent Producing Lab and The Gotham/Rotterdam Lab fellow. Aya founded 10 Mils Productions, through which she leverages her business background and commitment to representation to support storytellers from her communities. Aya co-produced DUNYA'S DAY (Sundance 2019). She produced Karina Dandashi’s DRESS UP (Short of the Week) and COUSINS (The New Yorker/Vimeo Staff Pick). Her film SWEET REFUGE (2023) by writer/director Maryam Mir, starring Laith Nakli (Hulu’s Ramy) was acquired by AMC+ and is now streaming on Omeleto.
